Default 5.0 Swap?

Arrite, get ready to flame.

I have a v6 3.8L '98 Coupe. I think I might be able to get my hands on an LX Fox soon [5.0]
If I were to swap the engines, would I have to swap the tranny, too? Also, would I have to get a new rear-end to handle with the extra torque?

Is it even worth it?

EDIT:: It's Automatic, if that makes any difference

That's what I thought. Thanks.

EDITT: Would the rear-end/tranny of the Fox fit in the SN95?

Yes...same chassis, pretty much.

So, if I wanted to I could just basically transfer the whole drive train?

Or is the Fox's rear end shorter than the SN95's? It seems that way from looking

The Fox rear with the axles is about 3/4" narrower on both ends than the SN95.
