What will I need? (Engine swap info)
So Im probably going to be getting a clean '96 6 cyl stang soon. 3.8 with a 5 speed. Anyway, I have a few questions. Are the 5.0L and 4.6L K members different than the v-6 one? Are the 5.0L and 4.6L K members different from each other? Would I be able to use the 5 speed thats in there if I swap the bellhousing to the V-8 one?
And before any of you start saying itll be too expensive to swap, more than likely the car will be carbuerated so Im not worried about the computer or anything like that. And If I do decide to go with a 4.6L I can get crown vic police interceptor for relatively cheap. Ill cross that bridge when i come to it.
