antifreeze leak and more??
ok here is the problem it is driving me crazy. i have a 95 gt it runs great i have no problems but when it is even warm out the gauge goes up to the (L in normal on the gauge) it has never overheated. i am starting to think it is just the gauge sweep off from getting old. the fan comes on as normal the thermostat was bad but has since been replaced. second problem is if i drive it for a while then park it in the garage i will notice a puddle of anti freeze under it a small one. but can never seem to find a leak i took it to my buddies garage to pressure test and he said it held pressure fine any ideas.

it puddles between the front of the motor and the rear of the radiator wouldnt that show on a pressure test though? well i guess not since its not pressured on these huh

The sending unit might be bad, causing inaccurate gauge readings. On my 94 I think it is the treaded senor on the intake manifold coolant passage. Is the radatior cap good? Tighten all the hose clamps. When you changed the T-stat, did you refill w/ coolant then start the car with the rad. cap off and let it warm up/ push air bubbles out the top?

Best way to fill, start motor let itwarm up, open the radiator cap give about 1/3 throttle and fill the radiator, install the cap while under throttle, this sucks the water into the motor and completly fills it.
