Default How Rare?

I just recently purchased a 1968 mustang with the VIN 8R02R171549 I know it's some what desireable but how do I find out how many where made? Its a rolling chassis with the 428CJ and rear end, its missing the C-6 transmission. Thanks for any information, Scott

Thanks for the info. Any idea of its worth in pristine condition? I tried to find anything that sold in last years Barrett Jackson event in Scottsdale and no 1968 mustangs were sold. Lots of other years but no 68's. Was that a low production year? Thanks again for your help.

They only made 850 of what you have, there arent many left. Inperfect condition, I woudn't be suprised if it went for 100k.

I found an article that says all 1968 1/2 hi-po cars went through Fougler Ford Dealership, did they mean all cars that where to be modified from the factory, or ALL CJ's? Thanks for the info.

you will never get a barret jackson price. you will have to have someone who has done hundreds of cars do the restoration from tires and up.
