No I don't have gears yet but I plan on buying them within the next couple of days. I'm doing an intake and stuff after I get my 4.10s put in.
The gears will be the most noticeable mod you can get.

Yeah I've heard that. I want to put on an intake and I don't know about a tunable induction or k&n.

Don't know about the gains on those. I have a plain old Mac cold air kit. I have heard the Densecharger is the way to go. They are just too plain for me, gotta have a lil Bling, Bling. LOL

Code3GT, what mods do you have to your car that you're putting out 360 hp with a stock MAM?

so u drive around with the 260rwhp huh...with those mods i not sure if thats accurate my friend...so at the fly u got 300hp or so?... and the 150 shot gives u 360 rwhp. Id love to see the dyno. But with that NOS shot u will feel more pull with a larger MAF..from experience. The stock MAF wasnt designed for NOS use...but the larger granatelli,c&l, etc's are made to handle the pressure better. AS far as city driving, the stock one isnt a P.O.S. but u WILL feel alittle something at the pedal, ie: quicker throttle response, better top-end pull, better engine breathability, etc...IMO

Your post is confusing. I am not sure what you're getting at???? My car is around 275RWHP on the motor and 360RWHP on the spray. I did not say the MAF would not show an improvement, I said for a bolt on car, the amount of $$ is not worth the gains. As far as a high HP car, the STOCK 90mm Lightning MAF is hard to beat.

I think they are over priced. Now, don't get me wrong, they make good stuff, I just have a problem laying out that kind of $$ for such small gains and run the risk of leaning out. The car runs very well, so if it ain't broke....don't fix it.

I think the MAF is a good move if u plan on doing serious mods in the future. But ur right about the MAF being pointless if all u got is a CAI and little things.
