The mods I plan on going with are gears, pulleys, tunable induction intake, tb and plenum. What about a MAF with those mods?

This is JUST me, but again for the mods you will be getting, spend your $$ on something else.

everybody says" if u get a larger t/b, get a larger MAF too because u wont feel the same pull". Its the stock MAF that ive heard "Vfast" and others say is the restricting piece. If it was me, I would do the MAF other than the pulleys.

The stock MAF is restrictive, it sucks.

Actually that's what it's designed to do...LOL My point was for the amount of money for an aftermarket MAF on a slightly modded 4.6, the gains just don't add up.

I have to agree, that if all you has is a CAI, then you should look into other cheap mods like intake spacer and underdrive pulleys, then spend a little on exhaust and a TB\plenum combo, finally worry about MAF because at that point it might actually be a point of restriction.

If you want a quick free fix, you can try removing the screen on the stock MAF... Its supposed to even out the flow over the sensor but most people find that it's not neccessary and just restrictive.

U probably should have went with a 65-70mm tb and a 73mm MAF if u were gunna do it right now. 80mm is too big. Actually thats funny, i removed the screen on the stock MAF ( when i had it) and i felt a small difference.lol. Kinda ghetto but whatevers clever.
