i run a c&l maf sensor. works great. dont really know anything about the size of the maf in a 2k but if its smaller then the tb (which im sure it is) then ya, youll notice more of and increase with the larger maf

Don't waste your $$. If all you have is a CAI for mods, the MAF is fine. Everyone is gonna get all over this post, but unless you are really putting some HP down, your stock MAF is fine. My car is around 360 RWHP and 480 RWTQ and I still have my stock MAF. Ford does an okay job on their air/fuel electronics, so just leave it for now.

I was planning on getting the tunable induction because it included the 85mm MAM but i could use the extra money for some other mods if I just got a K&N intake. I plan on getting an air intake, gears, pulleys, and maybe a TB and plenum. So would a MAM make that much of a diff. with those mods or not?

Like I said, I would spend the $$ somewhere else. My other GT has a Vortech w/DSS forged shortblock, 42lb injectors, etc, etc. Now on that car, yes, I have a 90mm MAF. But, it's a stock Lightning MAF. So, to reiterate, Ford has pretty good electronics straight from the factory. Unless you are going forced induction of some kind, keep your $$.

What about if I was going to put on a new TB and plenum? Wouldn't the MAM help maximize those mods?

I have the C&L plenum and 75mm BBK TB and still stock MAF. If you are so ready to spend the $200.00, just give it to me...LOL

No I don't have gears yet but I plan on buying them within the next couple of days. I'm doing an intake and stuff after I get my 4.10s put in.
