my 88 Gt needed a new oil pan has anyone changed one out and found that the stock low oil sensor does not fit ( threads are too big ) and what can be done?

 

Should be NTP threaded, get a threaded bushing to screw in........3/4" NPT to 1/2" or what ever u need to make the sensor fit,
or go to the dealer and they can get you the right sensor. The bushing route looks pretty rough and bulky.
