Fuel Pump Help
I was driving my car and it died not even a mile from my house. I could not hear the fuel pump turn on anymore when I came to a stop. I was trying to figure out the problem before dropping the tank. Its a 1992 mustang gt 5.0. . . . . I put the voltage I measured on the wiring diagram. I am guessing the relay is the problem but I put another relay in its place but still the same problem, Maybe I need to go to ford for the factory relay? The relay I am checking is under the maf attached to the fender on the passenger side. Any other suggestions??? Only six volts at the inertia switch and 6 coming out of the relay to the inertia switch but 12 going into the relay????
