Default mustang scattershield

hi, i am building a motor for my mustang with windsor jr heads, f303 cam , performer rpm intake, headers, and other parts.i would like to use a scattershield just in case of a clutch or flywheel explosion using my t5.I'm on a budget though, and dont have 400 bucks for a lakewood or mcleod t5 bellhousing.i was thinking of using a trans blanket.has anyone used a blanket on their manual trans and will it contain an explosion? Also, if anyone has a t5 scattershield they would like to get rid of for cheap, please let me know.thanks.
