Default Cobra head on a GT Block?

I know you can put GT heads on Cobra block, but can you put Cobra heads on a GT block. I own a 2000 Steeda supercharged GT. I'm going to go through the block and insert all new internals. I'm also going to work on the heads, but I see that GT heads can only flow around 223cfm even built. Cobra heads flow around 260cfm stock and easily over 300 built. So is it feasible to put cobra heads on a GT block? I so, then what is the big expense?
