I am about to buy a 97 Mustang GT with only 67000 miles on it and wanted to know if anyone knows of any mechanical problems that these year model cars could have or have had? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

There was a TSB about the emergency brake not working right, I think it would let the car roll when the brake was on, if you dont know too much about cars I would take it to a mechanic and have them look it over. Otherwise do a compression check and take a look underneath it to look for bad repairs, rust and any obvious oil leaks.
