no spark from coil????
First off sorry for posting a Dodge question, but you guy’s /gals are more helpful than the Dodge site.
Anyway, have a 56 Dodge lancer custom royal, the car will turn over on a full battery charge but I get no spark from the coil. Replaced with new same results, pulled good coil from 68 mustang and same results. Checked ignition and found a broken wire, repaired still no spark. Checked wires to the coil with a test light and thereis juice. Car started a few days ago, now all of a sudden nothing.
Any clues

Dirt in the points?
Make sure the timing hasn't moved.
It's been awhile since I fooled with one of these oldies but what about the ballast resistor?
Start at the beginning.Get a new set of points, get a new condenser, and reset everything starting from scratch.
These things are simple,so a simple repair will do.
