ok i have the ford racing ac removal brackets the takes out the ac and puts the power steering in its place.


all of the stock brackets are off the head and out. now i have the aluminum bracketpeice bolted to the head. how do i use that black steel bracket? do i have to remove the pulley? i got a stupid diagram from http://www.fordracingparts.com/downl...M-8511-A50.pdf but those are not the best for installation help.

if anyone has any clear pics of this setup done id like to see. thanks

 

OK nevermind about the install, i figured it out. no one said anything about mounting the bracket to the water pump studs!! anyway, is it necessary to stack a few washers on the water pump studs to even out the bracket or does it sit straight? i couldnt tell, as because it is 2:56am with a crapp light.. i had to supply my own nuts, lol, to bolt it up the water pump. i guess thats how they want you to do it? i was wondering if they wanted you to use the water pumps nuts that are on there?
