We have a 96 with the 3.8 V 6, 85000 miles. It has been a great car untill antifreeze started coming out the exhaust pipe. Not just a white cloud, but straight coolant. This was all of a sudden. The wife stopped the car fairly soon, so hopefully not to much damage was done. I talked to the mech. and he said that there are quite a few TSB's on the coolant/intake manifold. He ordered the new and improved gasket from ford. Hopefully this is the problem, and it is not the head gasket or a cracked block.

Since I am new to this site, my question is this, is this a common problem? Will ford do anything for us. I realize the car is 11 years old, but has only 85000 miles on it. Thanks for any help you may provide, Brad
