parking brake light wont turn off

i cannot get my parking light to go off. is there a trick to this?

ford tec from sc here . check your e-brake switch in your console , my be stuck

my want to check your Brake fluid level also. I know a lot of cars will turn that light on if the fluid gets too low.

+1...thats the way it is in my bros tauras.

dont know about the mustang though. ill check up on that tomarrow sometime.
