Default O2 sensor voltage ouput

guys,

i think i may have a problem with oneof my O2 sensors. i drove the car around for about 5 miles the other day to warm it up, then while at idle i checked the output voltage of the sensors using my predator.

O2S11 - voltage reading fluctuates rapidly, hard to tell what its reading
O2S12 - voltage reading sits still, doesn't change until you give it some gas, then it changes and eventually comes back to the idle reading.

which one is fugged up, or are they supposed to read like that?

O2S21 & 22 seem to indicate the same reading, and change at about the same rate when i give it a little gas suggesting the cats are ok

on a side note, anyone know of a link that really explains all the variables that you can view in real time with a handheld tuner?

thanks!

Default RE: O2 sensor voltage ouput

from what I know....
O2S11= O2 BANK ONE SENSOR ONE
O2S12= O2 BANK ONE SENSOR TWO
O2S21= O2 BANK TWO SENSOR ONE
O2S22= O2 BANK TWO SENSOR TWO

from what I see on your readings a would say that the cat on bank two is bad......front O2 sensors are the main reading sensors.....the back sensors are tattle tail sensors(for cat efficiency)......or the heater in the O2 has shorted and is giving a bad signal.....hope this helps.....
