I just installed a C&L Intake CNL117-05P on my V6 Mustang 07. I bought it from rpmoutlet.com. They advertise that you will not need a tune for this intake but my car does not idle properly and it looses power all of a sudden when I acccerlerate. What should I do?

 

welcome to the world of C&L. anyway trie to turnthe metersome.some call this clocking the meter.and see ifit works if not turn it some more and keep on till it gets better also make sure you dont have it backwards and dont have any air leaks.

 

Thanks for the advice. Do you think a flash tuning would besthelp this problem because the car is undrivable as it is now?

 

If you can't drive it, take it off. Figure out what the problem is. At least that way you can still drive it.

 

I would try turning it like I said first. if that dont help I hate to tell you but I would sell it.I have had many problems with the C&L meters with peoples cars I work on seems they work on some cars but not others.and the driveability with them sucks.I like the PMAS metersthe best they rock. Put them on and walk away.
