well in fox body stangs like the one in my sigpic as well as the newer fox body mustangs (differnt front end and rear 1/4 windows) the gt is supose to be the top of the line model v8 (i belive there was one year that had an turbocharged I4 motor as an special gt) lx's came in both 4 bangers and v8's and 5.0's are all v8's 5.0 simply being the displacement of the motor (302CI)

[sm=signs006.gif] Not true...the 5.0 LX and 5.0 GT's had the same cam and suspension. The only difference was the weight and the ground effects with the LX being about 300lbs lighter and no ground effects. [sm=trust_me.gif]
ORIGINAL: Aliate X The difference between the 5.0 LX and 5.0 GT was that the GT had a little more agressive cam, better suspension, and then the cosmetic stuff (body kit, interior), a lot of people at the strip prefer the LX because its a little lighter, but if you want lighter, get a notch back. I just like the way the LX looks with draglites on them.

the gears you have is simply depending on what option box was checked when whoever bought the vehicle i beleive, mine came 3:08s wasn't there only 2:73s and 3:08s available with the 3:55 in 93 cobras?
