i have a 1991 lx v8, 5 speed. The car seems to have very little power and somewhat bucks when i step on it. the car runs great for about 10-15 minutes but once it hits running temp it goes nuts and idle drops and hovers from 400-600 rpms and the car shakes. when i drive it feels like i am bucking the tranny but i am not its just a real loss of power at low rpms, then when i step on it, it bucks until about 3500 rpms and the horsepower kicks in. anyone know anything? my cats may be gone could this be the problem? clogged maybe? the ignition seems to all check out and there are no codes coming up on the computer.thanks.

iac, and grounds are all good cats may be clogged, it feels like they are because itfeels like it blasts out wen i step on it. i was just lookin for some opinions to see if that could cause my problem. car just has cold air and flowmaster mufflers as mods.

pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulater.........turn key on and see if any fuel isat fitting or leaking out......if so it needs a new reg..........and cats most of the time let the car run at idle fine but will have no powerat higher RPM sometimes will not even rev up(if plugged)......just something to check.....
