so i have a 1995 dodge avenger with the good old 420a for a daily driver, the thing just dies when it feels like it, so i took it to the dodge dealer had them plug it in and they said it was the asb relay and it will be $140 for the part. my question is what is an asb relay and what does it do cause there is no way i am paying that much if its just a relay.

 

do you mean an ABS relay? And no, I wouldn;t know where that would be found on a Dodge

 

they said asb, maybe he ment abs but why would that cause it to die when it wants?
