Which sub-frame connectors?
Howdy,
In looking at how to spend my first few dollars on a newly acquired '89 GT hatch it seems sub-frame connectors should be towards the top of the list. This plays out 'cause I can feel a little body twist when I stomp on it in 1st with a stock setup and 3.73's. I have searched this site for reviews on different manufacturers but can't find much, seems the "search" feature never returns anything. I did run across some reports on Maximum Motorsports that were favorable.
1) Who makes a good sub frame setup?
2)Is it worth the weight gain to go with full length or will standard length suffice on a hatchack (maybe a vortech in the distant future)?
3) Is it worth the extra couple bucks for powder coated/painted since I'm gonna burn the paint off in a few spots welding and will have to re-paint anyway?
4)How muchinterior has to come out for the install considering the welding I'll have to do?
5) She needs shocks too so if there's a decent package out there that may be the way to go if it aint too hard on the checkbook.
Thanks and God bless,
