everyone is telling me to get an escort one but what if u dont have 300$
anyone know of a good one for under 150?

 

doode...idk y everyone else doesn tlike the cobras..but i got mine for 150 at circuit city adn it does what i expect it too..... i mean i tgices me a pretty much heads up......an deveryone saying get an escort...but cant detect lasers either so juss spend 150 and get the cobra.....its bette rthan nuthing.......

 

was that english? but yeah, radar detectors are still good to an extent. just like everyone said, they wont do you any good if the cop is using a laser. but the way i look at it, if it saves you from just one ticket then it has pretty much paid for itself right there. i dont have a radar detector myself, but i try not to speed. its kinda pointless in stop-n-go trafic when you rarely even get up to the speed limit.

 

I actually bought a cobra & it works fine... I live here in California & the cops here are out to catch anyone that is speeding. Its actually saved me every time. This thing actually tells me if im approaching a Rail Road Crossing or even if anambulance or fire truck is approaching.

u pay for protection. check ebay, im sure someones upgraded and selling their old one. my passport is lets see...5 years old now and still works like a champ.

Yes. Depends on what one you get. Don't get some cheap POS. Btw.....the Ku band went off twice in 2 days 2 weeks ago on my Cobra XRS 9930. Wtf is up with that? Is Ku radar in the US now?
