Sounds like a vacuum leak. Got access to a vacuum guage? Should be pulling around 20" at idle.

God bless,

Any auto parts store..Napa-autozone-orileys mabey even be one at wal mart? Im not so certain its a vac. prob anyways, mabey your loosing fuel pressure? Id mabey check that route first. a motor with a vac leak should still stay runnin or at least try to when u give it throttle unless its an awfull leak..which should be more than obvious. When did this problem start for you? after a dead/bad battery?
