Im guessing no one has replyed because they dont have a clue how to answer youre questions. I havent worked on a 5.0 since Ob's. I can gaurentee you will not find where it is in any manual. Its a stupid place for it, but its under the pass. seat. If i remember correctly. Im only 21, but the memory isnt as good as i wish. lol But yeah fuel pump relay under seat. Sometimes they even got chaffing wires. So check for that also. Fuel pump is in the tank. Remove youre filler neck, then remove the 3 bolts for the straps, one only has 1 bolt to remove and swings out of the way. Drop the tank and use a screwdriver/chizzel and push the lock ring out of the way and then yank it out. Its kinda weird how it comes out. But you'll get it.

on my '88 the fuel pump relay is under the driver's seat, not the passenger side seat, but who knows what they did in '87!

Thanks guys, I've owned the car since it was new 1987. Wife went to the store and it wouldn't start, no fuel pump running. the only thing that ever failed in all the years was the distributor 2 yrs. ago 112'000 miles and doesn,t use any oil. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR REPLIES.
