Yeah, FI isnt all that hard to work on. Ever think you might have a PCM problem. Or maybe even a broken wire on the fuel injectors wireing harness. If can be alot of things, not just sensors, you can replace the engine and trans, hell even replace the rear end. What if you have a PCM problem. Then you would be replacing parts that dont need to be.... Oh wait you have already done that. lol.

always pull code before replace sensors..there not cheap as you have found........

lol. Yeah lawnmowers are boring though.

Also alot of times whn you pull a code, it may not even have to do with the sensor it lists. Such as a P0401, code for EGR.... You dont replace the EGR though. Because the ERG is just sencing a problem in the system. So you replace the DPFE insted Remove it and tap it on a piece of hard surface, you'll see that their is excess water in the sensor and it comes from the exhaust system. Stays inside and cause a fault code. .... Ok im done now!

it's funny that make is seem the code reader tells the story..most don't know that it's like a building block like you said as the real problem will set of other codes..
