Someone already said it, but it might be the catalytic converter (however you spell it).

Also, if you have a good video camera or someone else does, try to get a good recording of the sound. Video not needed of course.

In that case never buy a new car this is my first car the new year out and the FIRST time I have never had problems.

I bet the problem is know to ford corprate and there working on it and hoping the warratty runs out and I bet the 06 won't have the noise..this is why I never I mean never buy a car the first year out......your the ginny pigs so to speaks..hope it works out
