Default Wheel back spacing and off set

Can anyone explain this stuff. I am buying 17x9 Shelby razor wheels in the gun metal finish and I want to buy the right size. I am running stock drum brakes on the rear with a five lug axle upgrade, but will upgrade soon to disc brakes, (if the discs will work with c-clip eliminators.) I have stock calipers up front with 5 lugspindalsbut i will also upgradethe front brakesin the future. What size rims will work for now and the future upgrades?

Thanks all

uhhhh, Shelby razors don't come in 17' far as I know. 18'x9 and 20'x9 only. 40 backspacing is correct for 05-08. not so sure for fox body.

They come in 17-18 -19- and 20 inch. I am placing them on a 1993 notch. I know the stock brakes will clear but how big a offset do I need to have 275/45/r-17 so the wheels don't stick out too far?
