ok i had an arguement with a friend tonight about the gears that i will be installing soon, i am getting 410s and he says that at the track i am going to run out of gear because i have a 5speed and will have to go into 5th gear which is overdrive. if you have any knowledge or experience with 410s then please help solve this lol

From what i gather a gear will improve your quarter mile time.

youll be fine. with those mods you wont run fast enough to run out of gear. i would think you could run as fast as low 11's with that gear and not run out

yeah its around 11s when u will run out, but by that time u need a larger slick and slows you down in the mph so you will gain some gear back

your gonna need alot more power than what you have now to run out of gear in 4th

your friend is wrong, you will not need to worry about it unless you are running smaller than stock diameter rear tires.

I would think he is wrong.. but you should look for a calculator online that will tell you for sure. I used to have a link. I'll see if I can find it.
