Price in cervinis is 479$. inthe same mag liberty mustang supply has the same hoods at half the price. can anyone tellme the difference? anyone with experience with either company?I live 45 mins from each place so i will pick up and not pay shipping.

thx...john

RE: LIBERTY MUSTANG...

For those of you looking to buy a fiberglass hood stay away from Liberty mustang supply!!! They are formerly Cincinatti Composites. they had to change their name b/c the bad rap they have. They also have a sister company called CHAMPION fiberglass. this is the same company, same people. They had to change their name b/c Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords banned them because they got more compliants than all the other vendors/dealers combined. Look at an old cincy composites add and the new Liberty add. it is the same add, and the same savings on the money order. He does that because you can't get your money back on a money order like you can for a credit card transaction. It is the same people!!! I saw them last weekned at the all ford swap meet in Columbus, ohio. They still have ohio plates, but the have a P.O. box in delaware, or somewhere close to it.

I had a cowl hood from them and the damage done to my car, I could have bought 3 cowl hoods from anyone else. The latch assy ripped out and the hood smashed my winshield, leaving it cracked, a broken cowl vent and a cowl so badly messed up. Please do not buy from these crooks. Buy a quality name like BOSS inc, H.O. fibertrends, or Cervinis. they might be more money, but they won't crack or break over a couple month time frame. Not to mention the hood from one of these reputable companies will fit excellant without major surgery.

cirvinis has the highest quality hoods available, you really cant go wrong with cirvinis. Even though the lower quality ones are much cheaper you will save money on prep and fitment because you dont need any, plus if the cheap one lets go and busts up your cowl and windshield your gonna have to spendlots of$$$ to fix it

I was never a fan of the fox body style, so I'm really not the one to ask.

But, if you really want my opinion, i don't really like the storm. hood. It almost looks too much like what you would see on a Pontiac. I feel like there is too much going on with that hood. Too many vents or something...

Personally, I like the Cobra R hood on the fox style. In my opinion, simpler is better. I've seen some foxes around here with the cobra hoods that look badass. Up to you though...
