Not sure if this is in the right spot or not but I need to vent, so heres what happened:

I found a pretty sweet deal on a TR3650 and a Mach 1 instrument cluster from a guy in FL. So I go to the local Post Office in my town and get a money order for $850 and put it in an overnight express mail envelope and pay an additional $16 to overnite it to FL. So they give me a tracking number and I leave (This was 2 weeks ago) So 2 days later the guy calls me and asks me if I had sent the money yet, and obviously I was confused cause he should have had it by then. So I check the tracking number and it says it left my post office and went to the central hub downtown, and.......nothing after that.

SO...I go to the main Post Office downtown and they tell me to wait a week then file a claim for a lost money order. So I waited a week and filed the claim (thinking that filing a claim means they cancel the MO and issue me another one) WRONG! I have to wait 60 days for them to see if it gets cashed, then maybe MAYBE I will get my money back.
Well Merry F***ING Xmas to you tooPostmaster General!!!

That sucks, i always wondered how long it would take if they lost one of my money orders.

 

think thas bad just wait and see how hard to get your money if someone actually cashes it !

 

Next time use paypal...............
