Weird drivetrain swap

RE: Weird drivetrain swap
They used to do this kind of swap into VW's,Chevys, and Fords, but it usually didn't turn out too well.
If done and thought out well it didn't look too bad but they didn't handle at all and the four wheel drive usefulness was just about nil.
My advice is to drop the idea.It wouldbe an expensive curiosity at best.

A 300+ HP Aerostar would be sick indeed.
I got to thinking about AWD after seeing a NASTY old Plymouth Laser AWD launch hard from about 20 MPH - the whole car justraised up a couple inches and was gone. Couldn't tell there was any wheelspin. Got to wondering about how something domestic would look... and there's no Psyclones to be had in the junkyard.
