Default Cobra rear bumper question

As many of you have prob seen, in very late cobra's (02'-04') on the rear bumper you will notice a part that somewhat looks like a skirt. It covers under the cobra emb on the bumper and reaches from one side of the exhaust tip to the other.

you will see in the red GT the bumper has a different design compaired to the flat black on the cobra.

What i am wondering is.. If its possible to replace a 00' GT's bumper with a Cobra's bumper to give it that look that you see in the black cobra (obviousely its possible). The real question now having all that said,Is it possible to install the 03-04' cobra bumper on a 00' GT to give it that bottom exhaust look, BUT for the bumper to say MUSTANG or MUSTANG GT (perfer just MUSTANG). The bumper is very cool indeed, I just am not a fan of the whole "cloning" "knock off" "replica identitie" thing. My car is a GT not a cobra wannabee lol. So the underlining question is, Is there a site out there that offers the bumper for my model with the style of the cobra but with the engraving of a GT or MUSTANG. The second question would be, since the bumpers a late model and my GT is a y2ker, Will their be any difficulties installing it?

Im really wondering if this is possible, I seen it on cobras and GTO's and its just too cool. thanks =]

If its not understood, my model is a Mustang GT 00'

That would be quite a custom job. I recommend getting the 03/04 Cobra rear bumper and just filling in the letters when it's painted. Gives you the look you want and is nice and clean.

I really was hopeful that their maybe some parts manufacturer that does it but it does seem rather specific for anything. I maybe forced to do that. What exactly do you mean by fill in the letters when its painted?

Exactly what it says, fill them in so the bumper is just smooth all the way across, no letters. If you want it to say Mustang but have the black at the bottom it's also common to have the bottom part painted flat black, both ways look good but I like the Cobra rear bumper better.
