Default Bad dent, suggestions nice

Ok well i know im going to get some nice hated comments on this baby. Im not thrilled myself. I managed to spin out into a pole on ice the other day, im not thrilled in the least bit. The bodyshop wantsa insane amount of money as i figured, im not sure if its insane but im not paying over 1k for it. So idea's anyone? I was thinking a mega version of that pop a dent ****. Are their any alternative methods out there?

find another body shop and get another quote but dont do it your self if you dont have experince. you WILL cause more damage that way. it wont be cheap and if they dont replace the damaged part of thequarter panel there will be some body filler envolved. if you want to try to pop it(and do more damage)out take out the tail light and/or the inside trunk liner and try to push it out or buy a inflatable dent poper. like this http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...ProductID=2619

buy doing this you will strech the metal more and might cost you more to fix. good luck and i hope this helps

dont just fill it....that ones easy, open the drunk and just hit it a little most of the dent should pop out, but like the other guy said if ur not a body guy dont do it your self u could make it harder to fix in the long run if you mess with it too much

You can probably beat most of it out from the inside of the trunk, after that you could probably rent a slide hammer and pull out about all of it you need too. then you need to grind it down to bare metal and apply filler untill it is strait, then you have to prime over that and wet sand it back down and blend the paint.
So if your not a body guy there really isn't a lot you can do, that is unless you want to learn how to do body work, it would be cheap place to learn.
