My 89 mustang Lx 5.0, shut off on me awhile ago, only thing i notice wrong was my coil wire melted on my headers,now i have no spark orfuel pump. what could this short have done ? where could it be ? i looked and came up with nothing, if i run a wire from the battery to the coil i get my fuel pump and a spark. I havnt notice any blown fuses or other melted wires, help please
