When my 03 stang has sat for a few hours it sometimes makes a quick qrinding sound but then goes away thought maybe to be cluch

 

maby the starter or somehting.

 

if its the same as my car, the oil drains back down into the pan and you can hear the rockers clattering until the oil circulates up from the pan. my buddys gt does this too, i think its a pretty common problem.
