Any ideas?? :)
Hi there everyone...
My husband owns a 1996 Ford Mustang. He has been having some problems with the passenger side window.
It started by rolling down and only would roll up intermittently, now it won't roll up at all. My husband said that he doesn't think it is the motor because the window would probably roll down more if it could. The drivers side controls won't work it at all, and the passenger side was the only side that actually worked when this all started.
Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
Thank you
Charmaine

best way to check is to "jump" the switch
bypass it by pulling off the door panel and putting juice to the motor itself , if it moves it, the switch is bad
if it does not...the motor is bad
i would bet motor though.......the switch is inside and doesn't usually corrode, the motor is in between the door and does

I Would start with the switch for the drivers door. reason is she said the passengers side still worked for a bit before both cut out. If it was the motor the would both Not work at the same time. Personaly I would change out both sides cuse if one's going bad the otherside is not to far usualy.
