i dono where this should really go but yeah....ok, now ive been reading up on kit cars and what not for a while, but the catalogues are pretty vague on some things. dont laugh, but, can you actually drive these cars daily as im assuming they arnt coming with VIN's and what not?? can anyone basically explain how these work? are they just trailer queens or something?

 

I believe you get the total car except the engine and tranny. So I would have to guess that you get the VIN and everything else too. Good luck.

 

If you ever watch the show "Dream Car Garage" on spead channel. They have advetised a cobra coupe and convertable made by superformance http://www.superformance.com/
They look gorgeous. They toured the plant where they make them, it all looks exceptionally good! I would totally buy the coupe If I had more money. I beleive they come up with there own vin numbers and stuff like that. You do have to put your own motor and trans in though.....

wow.....factory painted.........and can be registered or whatever like a regular car you buy from someone or a dealer....awesome. definitely one of my life goals will be to get one of these...

 

also, check out www.factoryfiveracing.com . theyre out of Massachusett's or something. they make a kit car for $11,995, and you provide engine/tranny. idk if it was w/ a 5.0 or 4.6, but, 0-60 was rated at 3.6/3.8. either way, DAMN FAST !!!!!! i want one
