Has anyone heard ofa universal cold air intake kit? where can i get one and how much do they cost?

Check with your local auto parts store. Or better yet, check online at K&N or JLT's websites. They should tell you.

Forget the universal junk. Just get a cheap, reliable one made for your car. Ebays got a ton of universal filters though.
