My 1994 5.0 has a miss just off idle anybody have an idea what can be wrong I just changed the fuel filter and put in some fuel injection cleaner it helped on pick up but she still runs rough. And what about those hand held dianostic things that plug in the lighter do they work.

 

Check the oxygen sensors maybe?

 

How about a TUNE-UP. Cap, rotor, WIRES (most important), plugs. Pop the hose off that goes to the throttle body, if its all black in there get a rag and some carb cleaner and clean it out. Try that, if it doesnt run better than you might have other probs.
