Newb questions for u guys
once you start building things start to pile up. The general rule it to take whatever you think it is going to cost you and multiply it 1.5X. You will need:
forged bottom end 2K
bearings, gasketsmachine work, assembly 600
blower 2,500
injectors 250
high volume fuel pump 150
high volume oil pump 50
tune 400
adjustable fuel pressure regulator 100
Thatsover 6K without any head work and im sure im missing some parts, then at that point your transmission and rear end are weak points, then after that you have to get the power to the ground, it never ends

Well sup folks. Despite my complete lack of knowledge of cars,
i managed to figure out what superchargers are
After seeing some videos and posts I was seduced by kenne bell.
My question is, i was lookin at KB site and saw these different chargers
and there were 2 for 01' GT. I was wondering which one is better suitable for me?
And what does these 9 PSI, 20 PSI mean? Lastly, if I get one of these do I need
anything else to go with it? like programs or sth?

But, if you plan on buying one, and dropping 3k on a s/c, then you need to know what your doing.
All of those vid on youtube and what not, they were not just made 30 minutes after the s/c was installed.
Some take months. Lots of extra before work needs to be done befor you slap that on. And by the time thats done, your already going to have power, but a smaller walet.
A s/c isnt just a bolt on mod sorry man.
I am not trying to be rude,
But i dont want you to see you wasting your money
Or even worse, blowing up the engine.
Peace
question for you guys, i know 99% of superchargers dont require BOVs, and some kinds cant even have them, but i was just browsing on ebay and saw this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bosch...QQcmdZViewItem
makes it sound like it can be universally intergrated into a discharge pipe with fabbing? out of sheer curiousity, would that work on a reverse rotation SC?

mostly all supercharger kits will come with a bypass valve. a bypass valve recirculates the meteres air instead of just venting it to the atmosphere. If you want to run a blow off valve you will need a blow thru MAF
