2002 8.8 rear end,will it fit my 85 gt

i got a good price on a 8.8 out of a 2002 roush mustang and i want to put it on my 85 gt.the ? is will it fit and is it the same size as 94-95 mustangs..thanks,doing five lug conversion and want rear disc brakes.

It is not the same size I believe. I think the 94-98 rears are a bit smaller than the 99+'s
