im out in my garage changing my fluids in the rear end and i got all of it out and got the cover back on...but when i went to get the plug out it wouldnt budge and it got kinda messed up in the process.

question is, can i put the fluid in ziplock bags and stick them in there and seal the cover then just drive? it will burst the bags open and disinigrate the bags?

i herd of this being done before...just wondering if it is worth it..

you can also drill a hole in the cover above the oil level and
put it in that way too, you will just need to find a rubber plug to slip in the hole, some of the older mopars from the factory had rubber plugs , i have actually done that to all mine as filling it from the front is a pain in the a--

 

u better not put plastic bags in your rear end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first of all try spraying it with some penetrating oil.. letting it sit for a little bit and try getting it out... if it gets stuck or strips and your screwed...

IF you have to...drill a hole in top of cover and pour in fluid..SEAL hole... get it to a shop.. and get it fixed right...and get a new cover...

 

Get another cover.
