OK guys, I have the stock 88GT "Turbine" rims on my Stang, I would like to put a drag radial on, I looked at the BF Goodrich website and they don't make a DR in the size I need. Is there any other company out there that makes a DR to fit my rim. Would like to keep the factory look to my car. The rim dimensions are 225/60/15.

If not, what is the widest rim and tire I can go to for my car. It is 4 lug

i have 235/65-15 comp ta's on the turbines i use as track tires

 

Does that seem to work well on the turbine rims?

 

yeah the sidewall is a little high but i got both tires bran new for 70$ so... go for a 55 or 50 series tire

 

i have some mt et street radials that are 235/60/15 on some D holes (10 hole), I also have some 26*10.50 et streets on some turbines

 

just because the stock tire size is 225/60-15 doesnt mean you have to run that size tire look for something like 245/50-15

that stock '88 turbine wheel measures 15" diameter x 7" width. there are many different tire sizes that will fit on those wheels.
