Default Tune for GT500

Hello,
New to the forums (actually returning from when I sold my 03 Cobra). People are talking about a CAI and tune for the GT500 asstarters for mods. Is this tune availble from Ford, or do we have to get aDiablo, Superchips, etc.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure Diablo and SCT have tuners available for the GT-500. The best on the market right now as far as I'm concerned is Sniper tuning software. I wouldn't mess around with the tuning on a supercharged vehicle unless yo have a wideband 02 sensor or have access to one for the tuning process. The last thing you want to do is lean out that 60k car.

Thanks. I was leaning that way but the mod bug hit me already. Any suggestions for a CAI and exahust?

Check out Borla Stainless Cat-Back and JLT for the intake. I'm partial to Borla and the JLT is the nicest intake I've seen for that application.

Thanks...I ordered a K&N before I read your response. I'll look into the Borla or Corsa. The exhaust looks ridiculously easy to change as everything is right behind the rear tires.

K&N always makes nice intakes. Definitely post up some sound clips when you do exhaust. I have heard lots of good things about Corsa too.
