Default Stock Intake

Has anyone painted/polished their stock intake? If so, what is the best thing to remove the coating on the intake manifold?

I'd say sand blasting the thing, since the aluminum isn't smooth to begin with.

i used paint remover from wal*mart and a wire brush, that worked ok for me

stripper will work, get the strong stuff. i paid like 15 bucks i think at homedepot.
