Default Help with front suspension

i noticed theres a crack in my front driver side spring, any idea where i can get a stock replacement, for not to much money, and how hard is it to put in. Im mechanically inclined and have done plenty of repairs on my old Porsche 944, but nothing really with suspension. thanks for any answers

well the cheapest and easiest place is a junkyard. And you have to be carefull when replacing springs. You will need a spring compressor to change it out, call around to your local auto parts stores i know some of them rent them out for free

u can either buy a another one or take them and cut a coil if i remember right 1/2 a coil is an inch drop anyways thats what i did to mine and it seems to work real well still rides ok just watch how much u cut cuz if u cut to much u will have to get some aftermarket caster/camber plates or slot the car to get your front end back in line

Keep checking the forums or ebay. Many Mustang guys have removed stock springs in favour of a lowering spring.
