Default another newb with another question.

so i replaced my rotors and pads the last weekend and noticed i had a cracked coil spring, yesterday me and my girls cousin, owner of solowcustoms, replaced the coil spring, and it took a little more then finess to get that b*tch in, However no when i go down the road im getting a scraping noise coming from the drivers side brakes. as soon as i hit the brake pedal it goes away. i cant figure it out i just did the brakes last weekend, and we never took the caliper, rotor, or brake pads off? any ideas on what to look for?

make sure the pads are still good, make sure the metal clip that holds the calipers on isnt scraping something.

Make sure that there is nothing between the calipers. The metal clips may be rubbing as well. DEf check to see if the brake pads are in good condition.

also the noise isn't constant its in rythym with the wheel as it turns, like it only rubs when the wheel is in a certain part of its rotation.

EASY FIX. The backing plate probably got bent while you were under there messing around. Check and see if its seems like its right on the rotor. If it is then just pry it away with a screwdriver a little bit. Then drive again to see if noise is gone.
