Default Tire & rim help????

I am clueless as to what I need to be looking for!
I have a 1994 Mustang GT Convertable.
I need new tires and rims, but am not sure of what to buy.
Are 20' rims too big? My current tires are similar to the 245-45-17 Kelly Fierce tires, and have stock rims. I'd like a larger rim and lower profile tire. Can someone give me some direction, because I would love it if they could!!!!

20" will fit on that body style but i think they will rub, and they look like crap IMO. the biggest you should go on our body style is an 18" wheel, you will still have a nice low profile tire to go with that. i have 17" on my 94 convertible and i love the way they look. some popular wheels are bullits, cobras, saleens, fr500s, and i really like the steeda ultraliteII's
bullits:

cobras

saleens

fr500s

steeda ulraliteII

+1 on no bigger than 18s unless your car is really set up for it, ive only seen one with 19s that I thought looked good and that was b/c the rest of the car was just rediculous.
