SO I HEAR THERE IS NO DRAIN PLUG ON THE 05 GT'S AUTO???
SAY I WANTED TO CHANGE MY FLUID TO SYNTHETIC.... WHERE SHOULD I GO(FORD GARAGE)?
AND SHOULD I PURCHASE AN AFTERMARKET TRANNY PAN?

Most cars dont have a drain plug in thier auto trannys from the factory. You can still change it yourself...but gets messy if not careful. They sell aftermarket drain plugs you can install in your pan so its easier next time you change fluid.

Its called a non-serviceable transmission. Its supposed to be a no maintenance transmission... At least until it goes boom. Keeps consumers from screwing with things Ford doesn't want them to as well. Like say, putting engine oil in your tranny, or any other type of non ford approved or idiotic fluid.
